I have been working at Earth Resources Technology, Inc. (Less than a year)
Compared to the other contractors I have worked for, this one is a breath of fresh air. Atmosphere is easy going, not a lot of company demands on my time, so I am free to do the best I can do for the client. Useful monthly meetings at contractor site, with lunch hosted by ERT, has enabled me to meet all my colleagues and network. Easy going manager, available when needed--always gets back to me same day. Flexible on leave. They are winning contracts and expanding quickly.
Definitely lowballed me on the offer because they new they were the only game in town at the moment on where I wanted to go.
Advice to Management
Keep up what you are doing, by and large. Resist the temptation to become like other contractors and load employees down with stuff that takes time away from the actual work. Keep it like a family.
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Earth Resources Technology, Inc..
I applied and was called in about 2 weeks. I had a group panel discussion with a group to discuss my skills and fit and after 3 weeks I was sent my offer. I went through a rigorous onboarding process before I started
I shot myself in the leg and gave them a number and they accepted. I did not expect them to accept but I later found out that others earned more for what I was doing.
