I have been working at East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare full-time (Less than a year)
I have come and gone for almost ten years, since I was a student nurse. I am back, here to stay until retirement. What keeps me coming back? HR and my current and (with one exception) past managers. Do we always agree? Of course not. Do they listen despite that? For the most part, yes.
The lowest pay I have experienced as a nurse. And YET, I keep returning. There is something to be said for family.
Advice to Management
Just thanks, with very few exceptions.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare (Tyler, TX).
You have to do a scavenger hunt and find places across the hospital by which you will likely never visit again. Your hunt is timed and you will arrive at the actual interview at the end. For some reason, the managers are comparing their WE CARE Concierges to Disney heroes... so be prepared for that.
