Eastwood Homes has been in the business of providing homes of exceptional quality at reasonable prices since 1977. The company has seen a great deal of change over the years, but their commitment to conducting business with integrity has never been questioned.
Eastwood Homes has experienced steady growth over their many years in the business. Expansions have been well-thought-out, stable, and calculated. Since the owner and founder is a Carolina native, his personal knowledge of the region has aided in the successful expansion of Eastwood Homes. Each of the 6 divisions of Eastwood Homes has a slightly different appeal, despite their relatively close proximity to the headquarters in Charlotte. Although you will find varying personalities across the regions, all divisions have the same mission – to build homes of exceptional value and outstanding craftsmanship while delivering unparalleled customer service. Activities in all divisions are still monitored by the founder himself, providing a true hometown appeal to all communities.
Eastwood Homes is a true "Hometown Business." Because we are based in the Carolinas, we are particularly committed to growth in the Southeast. We use our experience and knowledge of the area to select communities that suit your lifestyle. We have the ability to adapt to meet your needs because our decisions are made by people who understand the way you live. Through customer involvement from start to finish, you have the opportunity to participate in the decision-making for your new home. After all, who knows your dream better than you?
It is only natural that Eastwood Homes are built with local lifestyles in mind. The founder of Eastwood Homes, Joe Stewart, was born and raised in the Carolinas. He attended Appalachian State University on a football scholarship, and then served his country as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
After completing his education and serving his country, Joe returned to his hometown and taught at a local college. But Joe had dreams of doing something much bigger. In 1977, those dreams led to the creation of Eastwood Homes. Joe’s goal was to build high-quality, yet affordable homes. He wanted to not only give customers the most home for their money, but also the most pleasant buying experience possible. And unlike national builders, he was determined to not be driven by Wall-Street profits, but by providing excellence in his homes and communities.
Forty years and more than 15,000 happy homeowners later, Joe Stewart is still involved in the operations of the company. His son Clark joined Eastwood Homes full time in 2006 after completing graduate school, and spending every summer working in the business beginning at the age of 11. Together, Joe and Clark carry on the family legacy as a Homebuilder of Integrity.
The Stewarts take great pride in the company that they have developed. They walk through the homes under construction in each community on a regular basis. Their hearts and souls are rooted in th success of this company. It is their personal mission to provide homes of exceptional value and outstanding craftsmanship while delivering unparalleled customer service.

Are you looking for a Company where you can be an integral part of their continuing success?
Do you want to be part of an organization where quality products, quality service, and customer satisfaction are essential?
Do you wish to grow personally and professionally?
Do you desire to be part of an organization where feedback is encouraged and employee opinions are valued?
To have a career with increased compensation, benefits and recognition?
To easily achieve a healthy work/life balance?
We all want to work somewhere that supports us in our professional paths, while understanding the value of a good work/life balance. And let’s face it, companies can claim to offer a rewarding, enjoyable place to work, but when it comes down to it, one of the best indicators of a workplace is how long their employees stick around.
We understand that and we’ve always been proud to share with our potential new recruits that many of our team members have been around for 10+ years. They’ve stuck around for many reasons, including that the owners of our company understand that life outside of work is just as important as the 9-to-5 life, and that it’s important to promote your team members when possible.
So, we decided to put some qualitative and quantitative data behind our claims. We took a look at our hire dates and realized that more than 10 percent of our team has been with Eastwood Homes for more than 10 years! Nearly one quarter of our team has been with us for five years or longer! Another interesting stat: we are growing and nearly 25 percent of our employees have joined our ranks within the past year!
We wanted to know “why.” Why have so many of us stuck around here for so long, in a time when it is common to move on to a new company after just a few years? We posed the question to some of our longest tenured employees and heard a variety of answers. We hope you’ll check out their reasons, in their own words, on our blog at http://www.eastwoodhomes.com/blog/why-we-choose-eastwood-homes.
If you’re looking for a company that values your contributions to the team and encourages you in your career growth, we invite you to check out our open positions on our career page. If you have any questions about what it’s like to be Team Eastwood, feel free to send myself a message here on LinkedIn, or reach out to any of our team members. We’re all happy to help!

Advice to Management
Keep up the good work!
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Eastwood Homes (Charlotte, NC) in May 2013.
I first had a phone interview and then I was called back in for an in-person interview with the hiring managers. I met with 3 different managers with which I may be working and they were all extremely friendly and personable. We chatted about our personal lives just as much as we chatted about my qualifications and it made me feel comfortable. After the interview I received a phone call several hours later to confirm that I had the job and to set up for my first day. It was a great process overall.
