Good product and customers yields a strong business base. Customers recognize value of product generating organic growth and Eaton recognizes value of Aerospace in the portfolio this invests in the business.
Profit is king. Mandatory time off and layoffs if off profit plan. Managers protect personal bonus at expense of employees.
Advice to Management
Realize that treating employees as your greatest resource, not just an inconvenience, will drive profits up and cost down. Employee engagement is key.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Eaton Aerospace (Glenolden, PA).
Initial phone interview, then onsite 2 hour interview with two engineering managers and tour of the plant. The tour of the plant was with a current intern, and I was able to see all of the products that were being made at the facility. Also talked to many of the engineers and asked them basic questions about their role
