I worked at Ecessa full-time (More than 3 years)
Hot market, growth potential, solid products. Flat hierarchy, everyone is a contributor. Free parking, nice office, fun people, learning environment.
Some people may feel limited by the lack of resources, small team and low frills environment. It is what it is.
Advice to Management
Continue developing great products, hiring great people, be very clear about your expectations and trust them.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Ecessa (Plymouth, MN) in March 2014.
I had three separate interviews. The first was with a recruiter and then two additional at the company. My hiring manager was easy to speak with and it was scenario questions asked.
It was simple and I knew up front what my compensation would be prior to the internal interview.
