Recommends
Positive Outlook

I have been working at Ecological Society of America full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

-Great work environment; easy-going and respectful colleagues, clear direction from management. -Generous benefits; comprehensive insurance, plenty of vacation and sick time, 10% matching

Cons

-Working remotely is not for everyone. I don't mind the absence of a physical publications office, or working from home, but some may.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ecological Society of America (Italy) in Oct 2013

    Interview

Interview very simple, just to access Linux knowledge and skills. Some questions about my background as software developer to assess troubleshooting skills and costumer relations.
Interview went very well, it took around one hour and a half and was done through the phone. I was presented to the company boss as a junior but with experience.
    Interview

Have you work before in Operations environment? Do you have experience talking with costumers?
