Eddie Deen provides no benefits of any kind. This company consistently lies to its employees, and makes promises that it doesn't keep. It is also not uncommon for upper management (including Eddie himself) to ask staff to do things that are illegal. refusal or voicing concern will get you labeled as a non team player and results in termination.
Advice to Management
This company needs to come to the realization that its employees are its greatest asset. Instead Eddie thinks he is the only valuable employee, all others are as disposable as disposable plate.
