I worked at Eisai Research Institute of Boston full-time (More than 8 years)
Culture is very respectful. People are well educated and work collaboratively. The human health care (hhc) vision is felt by everyone and the company is committed to improving the lives of patients and their families. You are allowed to do patient related activities during work time which is a true testament to their mission.
There have been a lot of changes and many of the original people at the Andover site have moved on or been laid off due to declining revenues. There is an initiative to grow again and I hope that this happens because Eisai is very good to its employees and it can be a great place to work again.
Advice to Management
Don't change just for the sake of changing or just because the 5 year plan dictates that you switch to something new. Organizations take a while to settle down after major shifts in structure.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Eisai Research Institute of Boston (Andover, MA).
The hiring process was easy. The HR interview was very pleasant.
