Really nice team and managers. Learned a lot about baking and piping cookies. It was a good experience before deciding whether to go to pastry school.

Far commute for me, but it wasn't a problem overall. Hourly pay was low but that's expected for a bakery - good to get experience before deciding to pay for culinary/pastry school.

    Easy Interview

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Eleni's NY in June 2014.

Went in for an initial interview and met with the sales manager, she was very inquisitive and knowledgeable. Then a week went by, I was called back in but to their retail store (even though I was told that I would be working out of the LIC facility) and I met with the owner. She spent less time sitting down with me then I expected, considering they knew that I was commuting from Flushing that was a bit inconsiderate. I didn't hear from them after my follow up.
