    Positive Outlook

I worked at Elk Grove Unified School District full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

EGUSD was a wonderful place to work. Even though it is the largest school district in Northern California everyone cared for the kids.

    Cons

Sometimes year-round and different track schedules at some of the schools can be a bit crazy to manage.

    Advice to Management

Continue to show the same care and concern to students and staff that has gone on for years.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Elk Grove Unified School District (New York, NY) in November 2016.

    Interview

Interview was very quick, less then 10 minutes and was told at the end I was being recommended for the position. This happened in November, I took their required strength testing and submitted all required paperwork. It is now mid January and have yet to be contacted regarding he next step. When I called to inquire I was told I'd be emailed soon with next steps, that was two weeks ago. Seriously. At this rate by the time I actually start working it will be time for summer break!
