   I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Elvie (United Kingdom)

   Interview

   I was pleasantly surprised to hear from Elvie and had a really nice first round chat. I had a second interview which also went really well. I put blood, sweat and tears into a presentation I did for the final round, spending hours honing it, interviewing contacts of mine and researching Elvie and pelvic health.
   
   I know it was a strong presentation but sadly I didn’t make it through — in hindsight I think perhaps the chemistry was lacking, or they already had someone lined up for the role. I still often think about the job which sounds mad I know but I was SO excited about it, I know I had the skills and I got positive feedback on the strength of my ideas, but a comment about the presentation “lacking structure”.
   
   To be quite honest I think the interviewer lacked experience in the women’s health space, and so a lot of my ideas weren’t appreciated as much as they could have been, and he focused on the fact I didn’t have a strong enough “plan of attack” for the first three months. So much of that would depend on budgets, timings and resource, so although I gave a realistic answer based on that, I think he wanted someone who would just take everything off his hands rather than work as a team. This role needs a creative storyteller with a journalistic nose and excellent writing skills, not an analytically-minded digital all-rounder, which I expect they will go for. A real shame as their content could be really great.
