I have been working at Embrace Home Loans full-time (More than 10 years)
I have been working at Embrace Home Loans for almost 17 years, so I think it is fair to say that my experience here has been overwhelmingly positive. I feel that most people will quote salary or benefits if asked what makes their company great, and I understand that, and Embrace has those things, but making a company great is so much more than that. In my experience, Embrace is a company that listens to its employees, seeking out ideas, and sharing strategies, keeping everyone informed. Embrace is a company that recognizes the importance of work-life balance, understanding that life is not all about the bottom line. Embrace values the importance of giving back, offering volunteer opportunities, charity donations, and work programs. Even with all these things, we are still not a perfect company, but I can honestly say we strive for perfection every day, and for me, that is what matters most!
The biggest draw backs are really industry driven, being a mortgage company it can be difficult to gage trends, although I think we do our best to insulate ourselves from the ups and downs of our business, it is impossible to always protect yourself from the future.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Embrace Home Loans (Middletown, RI).
Through, I met with 8 people in one day. My name was on a large screen TV in the lobby welcoming me. I met all division heads, was given an overview of how the division works and how it is integregated with the rest of the company.
