Mission: En Masse Entertainment was founded with the goal of building loyal audiences for the finest online games in the world and a motto of “Great Games – Great Service.”
En Masse Entertainment was founded in 2009 with the goal of building loyal audiences for the finest online games in the world and a motto of “Great Games – Great Service.” En Masse successfully launched its inaugural title, TERA — a revolutionary action-combat MMO — in 2012, followed closely by the online shooterZMR (Zombies Monsters Robots). But "Great Games – Great Service" isn't limited by platform; En Masse has expanded into mobile games with multiple titles — Fruit Attacks and Pocket Platoons.
First and foremost, we are gamers. One of the first questions we ask job candidates is, “What games are you playing?” But En Masse Entertainment is also a world-class game publisher run by professionals with decades of experience creating, developing, and publishing the games we all love.
En Masse has created a culture of success by hiring experienced game industry veterans who are as passionate about their work as they are about the games they play. These passions are directed by a set of core values that pervade the company and encourage employees to put service first, love what they do, be decisive and experimental, and to always offer solutions.
At En Masse Entertainment, we believe everyone should follow their passions, and our passion is great games.
En Masse Entertainment is located in the flourishing Puget Sound tech corridor, home to the third-largest concentration of computer game companies in the U.S. We’re coming for you, Los Angeles!
Seattle provides easy access to snow and water skiing, a vibrant art and food culture, a thriving gaming community that plays host to the largest gaming convention in the U.S., and the most gorgeous summer months on the planet. And, despite popular impressions, Seattle actually gets less annual precipitation than New York, Boston, Houston, and 50 other major U.S. cities. It’s easy to see why people (and gamers) are flocking to the Pacific Northwest.
Here at En Masse, we sweeten the deal with state-of-the-art computer equipment (so every employee can play the most recent games), free snacks and drinks (because gamers “Need food badly!”), free health benefits for employees (to keep everyone healthy), plenty of swag and fun events like in-house tournaments (to keep everyone energized), a generous open vacation program (so you can enjoy the sun when it’s out), and competitive salaries (because, well, you know this one).
People come to work at En Masse for more than just a steady paycheck and good benefits, however. Our open office culture fosters collaboration and solutions from every team member. All employees are encouraged to bring their ideas to the table. Heck, our CEO sits at a desk in a line with a dozen other employees across four departments. At En Masse, you get the camaraderie of a startup in an established studio with years of experience.

I worked at En Masse Entertainment full-time (More than 5 years)
Having worked for a few game companies, this one sets a high bar by offering a great environment and great products to work on. Their customer first attitude is truly refreshing and has been maintained my entire time here. It has been a very family like environment, and everyone really cares about their fellow employee.
This is still a small company, so there isn't much in the way of training. You have to come in with the right attitude and mindset or you may not like it here. You have a lot of leeway to make mistakes, so the only thing you shouldn't do is to sit and wait.
Advice to Management
It can be incredibly hard to keep up with everyone that is going on, but making time to hear and to listen to what is going on will help tremendously.
I applied online. The process took 3+ weeks. I interviewed at En Masse Entertainment (Austin, TX) in November 2017.
I had a great experience thorough the entire process. The team was very welcoming, I had the chance to talk to a lot of people from EME, they take the process very seriously and they are very straightforward on what they are looking for.
