I have been working at Encompass Insurance full-time (More than 3 years)

Don’t believe the negative reviews. Most of the office has been here for 20+ years and that’s because it’s a great place to work. Claims is fast paced and there’s a lot of work that goes along with that, but the workload here is far less than claims in most other companies.

The management genuinely cares and provides a great work/life balance. The morale is great and there is comraderie between coworkers.

Even though there is a lot of tenure here, there is still a lot of opportunity for advancement.

I truly enjoy the work that I do and wouldn’t go somewhere else even if they paid more. The morale, work/life balance, and reasonable workload are reasons to build a career here.

Starting pay isn’t as high as some of the competitors, but there is more and faster opportunities to move up and earn more and the workload is a lot less than the competitors so it depends what’s important to you.

The health insurance is the only real con, all the other benefits are great. The health insurance is just expensive compared to most places; for an individual it is comparable but for a family it is pretty expensive.

    Claims Service Specialist Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Duluth, GA

    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Encompass Insurance (Duluth, GA) in June 2013.

I initially applied for this position on the Allstate employment website. The next day I received an e-mail from a company recruiter to request a phone interview. After the phone interview, which was very brief and just a few questions regarding my professional background and a few situational questions, I was sent a link to take the pre-assessment. The recruiter told me the assessment was straight forth and mostly common sense. I completed the assessment within the 48hr time frame and was immediately sent an e-mail telling me congratulations I would be moving on the next round. About a day later I was called to schedule an in-person interview.

The face to face lasted about 30 to 45 min. and it was a typical interview. Background information, situational questions and information regarding the position and benefits, after the interview I was told that I would hear something one-way-or-the-other in about two weeks.
