Like everywhere else, sell you on giving you the spiel about teamwork, collaboration, growth etc (anyone who tells you this is still not accepting reality) but like everywhere else, they will make promises they can't keep to get you through the door.

Engage SquaredPretty proud of the team at Engage Squared today! We've just been named one of the best places to work in the Australian tech industry, in the AFR's BOSS Best Places to Work list! And next week we'll hit another major milestone - with new starters in Bendigo and Brisbane taking us to 50 amazing staff across our Australian offices. We brought almost all of the team together this week in Launceston for our first company retreat in almost 2 years - with heaps of energy, passion and skill on display across the company. More than 1,000 companies were nominated for the AFR best place to work list - so we were pretty excited to hear that we'd made the top 10 after a rigorous assessment by a leading behavioural science consultancy Inventium. They looked at results from a staff survey and our written submission, with questions relating to policies, practices and programs. The judges really liked our staff-led cultural programme, and we were happy that they called out our collaborative and open culture epitomised by working out loud.
