What We're Building

Engagio helps B2B marketers drive new business and expand relationships with high-value accounts. Our proven Account Based Marketing solutions enable marketers to create and measure customer engagement, scaling the benefits of automation with the personalized benefits of the human touch.

With Engagio’s marketing orchestration platform, marketers can create and measure account engagement, drive ongoing success, and measure ABM impact. Our software complements Salesforce and existing marketing automation solutions, so getting started is easy!

At Engagio we are united by a common vision of marketing that uses data and analytics to be more intelligent and relevant.

We believe it is important that Engagio be a place where employees enjoy working, where happiness and positivity thrives (and politics and negativity are shunned). We know this is a long journey and believe in respecting health and family and taking care of people.

We believe people do the best work when they have the freedom to figure out their own tactics, combined with radical transparency and alignment on strategy and objectives.

We believe the best workplace perk is great colleagues who focus on excellence and execution, on continuous testing and learning, and on helping each other to be great.

I have been working at Engagio full-time

    Pros

If you're looking for a place to build a career, Engagio checks all the right boxes: experienced leadership team, strong culture and company values, plus room for upward mobility and personal growth.

The expectations are high, but everyone goes out of their way to make sure you feel supported and have the resources needed to succeed.

There's considerable emphasis placed on culture, which creates a close-knit team environment that permeates throughout the company. Engagio is a place where I truly enjoy going to work and can envision a bright future.

    Cons

None. Everybody plays an important role in the company's success. The work you do doesn't go unnoticed. If you're not willing to put in the work or looking for a comfortable role in which you can sit back, this isn't the company for you.

    Advice to Management

A lot of effort has been put into creating a great team dedicated to building the next great marketing platform. As we continue to grow, it's important that we continue to invest in our culture and values.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Engagio (San Mateo, CA) in February 2018.

    Interview

The process started with a call with their VP of Sales, who is direct with a clear vision about the future of the sales team there. After getting insights on the company and giving more depth on my background, we decided to meet in person.

The second round was a 3-hour meeting at their offices with the VP of Sales and members of the sales team. Overall, I enjoyed the in-person interview, because of the focus was more of a two-way conversation than how well I can answer a list of pre-made questions.

In the end, I did not get an offer, however, the interview experience was positive, and would welcome speaking to them again for future opportunities.
