I worked at Ensign Energy Services full-time (More than a year)
Great people and you can gain a lot of experience. Awesome company overall and great opportunities are available. They also promote within.
Not really a lot of cons. 50+ hour weeks, but you get paid well. It's a very hard and demanding job but most people are well aware of that before joining.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Ensign Energy Services (Williamsport, PA) in July 2013.
The hiring and interview process was fast and easy, but you will have a hair follicle testing, drug / alcohol test, physical and a lift test. Then you will sit through 3 days of HR, Safety and First Aid training. Afterwards they will give you a binder with what they require for advancement.
There was negotiation for pay.
