ERS used to be a great place until they were bought out some years ago. The pay is good, they have good benefits, and the new facility is top notch. They have a cool cafeteria with TVs and vending machines, a food truck shows up at lunchtime.
The work atmosphere is terrible, before they were bought out it was like a family run business. People were close, people enjoyed going to work, but now it is run like a big corporation. To management you are a seat not a person. They think they can get anyone to do your job. No matter how good of a job you do they only recognize when you do something bad. There is no room for growth in the company. The people they hire and attract aren't always the best. The culture here is "I'm going to get mine and look out for me." It feels like high school. If you are okay with going to work unhappy just because of the pay and benefits then this is the place for you.
Advice to Management
Stop acting like you have our best interest at heart because we know you will cut costs by any means. You are not loyal to us and do not deserve our respect. The people who have control abuse it, most of top management aren't true leaders. Hire people that have a vision and can motivate your employees. VALUE THE EMPLOYEES.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Enterprise Recovery Systems (Oakbrook Terrace, IL).
The Interview went well just did not get offered the money that I should have with my experience. in the same way our bonus structure was not good my department only received a bonus every other moth, when we should have been getting one on a monthly basis, I feel like we were cheated out of our money for all we had to do
