Entertainment Partners – Why Work For Us?

Entertainment Partners is a 100% employee-owned company and we really enjoy working together as a team and serving our clients. From the time you are first contacted by your new hire buddy through the many celebrations we hold throughout the year, you will experience a very special sense of community.

We are seeking team members who are willing to demonstrate ongoing commitment to our clients and to each other. We offer a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits including multiple options for medical/dental/vision health benefits, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 401(k), and a fun and supportive environment.

Entertainment Partners is an equal opportunity employer. Employment with us is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment background check.

Entertainment Partners (EP) is one of the entertainment industry’s most established and respected providers of production management solutions and technology. In addition to being the leader in production payroll and the largest processor of entertainment residual payments, we provide comprehensive production incentive services and financing, and a range of productivity solutions. We also own the legendary Central Casting which provides background actors for film, television, and commercial productions.

EP brings together the services and technology to deliver comprehensive solutions for the entire production process.

Our clients produce projects ranging from over $200M blockbuster movies to $500K independent films, as well as episodic television series, commercials, music videos, web productions, and live performances. Whether a major motion picture studio or indie producer, our clients rely on EP’s team of experts for guidance on labor relations, tax compliance, workers’ compensation, risk management, and more. EP’s experts represent some of the most experienced professionals in the industry today.

We currently have offices in California, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, New Mexico, New York, and North Carolina.

Entertainment Partners just celebrated forty years of service to the dynamic entertainment industry, and yet we are now embarking on our most exciting phase. We are in the middle of reinventing the paper-heavy back office processes of production. Most of us connect to everyone (and everything) on social media, order food and car service on an app, or store our music in the cloud. But until recently, crew and cast members were still completing paper time cards, filling out sheet upon sheet of paper forms by hand, and memorizing lines off of paper scripts. Entertainment Partners is revolutionizing all of that. Right now.

We are doing incredibly hard work. But nobody ever said being an innovator was easy. We are also in the middle of transforming ourselves from the inside out, to be sure we are in the best shape to meet the exhilarating challenge before us. So that means we are experiencing many changes and will continue to evolve. The rewards are great – and we like to have fun as well, celebrating victories as often as we can. Our work is directly linked to the creation of favorite films and iconic TV shows. We are 100% employee-owned so everyone gets a piece of the success we are building together. And, how often in a career does one get to move an entire industry forward?

If you thrive on these types of challenges and opportunities, we want to hear from you.

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took a week. I interviewed at Entertainment Partners (Los Angeles, CA) in February 2017.

    Interview

Dropped into 20-minute speed-dating style video call with two senior engineers. The conversation focused entirely on technical questions, there was no discussion about personal background, company culture or the team.
