I worked at Environment Agency (More than 8 years)

    Pros

People (in the main) are very passionate about what they do.
    Benefits are great.
    Pretty good work/life balance
    Interesting and varied work

    Cons

There was a lot of change, continuously.

    Advice to Management

Have a clear vision, embed changes then let things settle and review.
Don't leave those who are the top employees to do 90% of the work

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Environment Agency (Shrewsbury, England (UK)) in March 2017.

    Interview

Competency based interview, (5) followed by lab based test. Friendly relaxed process with guidance and support on structure of answers. Time allowed to add anything else that you feel would support your application.
Written application and communication via online agency portal is straightforward, although slightly tricky due to low word count requirement on competency answers.

    Interview Questions

    • As it is a competency based process the questions follow on from the written application. Health, Safety and Wellbeing.....Describe risks you consider associated with the role.   Answer Question
