I have been working at Environmental Systems full-time (More than a year)
Very casual laid back environment with dress code that follows. Great growth potential if you want it. Nice location, flexible hours depending on your position. Great pay, leader in the industry and we are working towards doing even more in the years to come.
This is a very family oriented place, so it is likely people will stay on because of emotions rather than performance. That is not necessarily a bad thing but that is the only con I could think of.
Advice to Management
Keep up the good work, don't stop looking to the future and growth opportunities.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Environmental Systems (Knoxville, TN) in August 2010.
Interview process was awkward, as the hiring manager wanted to meet for lunch for the first interview. That wasn't too bad, except that they set a time, then postponed the time for ~an hour, then had HR call 10 min later to say that they were on again. Was disappointed to find out that on the day I was hired, they asked me to come to the office a 1 PM - I found out later that was so they could fire the person in the position that morning. Wasn't really impressed with how they handled personnel in general.
I didn't negotiate salary, but I did negotiate an extra week of vacation.
