Company Updates

  • As you may know, Envoy Global has a platform that automates much of the work around the immigration process which we couple with legal services to provide a better, more efficient way for companies to manage their global immigration. With immigration so much in the spotlight, we surveyed over 400 HR professionals and hiring managers about their internal and external global immigration processes and challenges.

    There were many interesting take-aways from this year’s survey including:
         •Demand for international talent remains high after the new administration’s 1st year in office.
         •There is an increase in site visits, need for data security and complexity in the immigration process.
         •Employers turn to technology to keep up with immigration changes and demands.

    I have been working at Envoy Global full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Mission: we have the amazing mission to help people live and work wherever they want. Not many companies can make a similar claim to really impacting people's lives.
    - People: we get to work with smart, dedicated, mission-driven people.
    - Management: The CEO is awesome. He's focused on the business, but doesn't forget about the people that make the business run.
    - Work/Life Balance: good work / life balance means we work hard, but also have enough time to recharge when we need to.

    Cons

    - We are growing rapidly, but we still need to create a better framework to help people develop their skills and careers internally.
    - No work from home policy, which in this day and age seems kinda crazy for a tech company.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work, but think about how we can develop the team as we continue to grow.
