I worked at Eurofresh full-time
I enjoyed the people I worked with on a daily basis. I learned a lot from some very helpful coworkers. Pay and benefits were OK. Most of the "inner circle of managers" were canned when they merged with another company.
Difficult to get a raise. Upper management quick to jump to conclusions. Most of the upper managers were of one nationality and a very tight knit group. Difficult to please.
Advice to Management
Promote from within and take the time to mentor and train your supervisors.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Eurofresh in December 2009.
I found out about the position through my brother who currently was working at Eurofresh fams, I sent my resume after and got contacted about two weeks after, the interview took place at the farm, it was one interview only in a panel of five managers, three of them from pack house, one from quality and one from HR, interview took about an hour and got finally contacted for job offering around two weeks after.
