I have been working at Europe Express full-time (More than a year)
Good training is provided even thou you never worked in the tourism industry before. Good work-life balance, a little bit crazy during high season Jan-Apr.
some goodies when you reach the 1million dollar week goal. good environment manager let you handle situation trusting your common sense. the pay is okay $14 usd p/hr +commission
its a great place to start a career in sales and customer service. you also get 17 days paid time off called sick days or vacation.
you will have to work every single weekend for a year before even considering to move your schedule. When you are off during the week days people may call to make a reservation and if are not there you might not get the commission for that booking.
The travel agents are rude, and very demanding.
Advice to Management
there is some people really unhappy with the schedule, is there a way that at least people can have one day of the weekend off?
the staffs needs constant motivation
I applied online. I interviewed at Europe Express in November 2015.
Very quickly after submitting my resume on-line, I was contacted by HR for a phone interview. The interview went well, and I learned a lot about the company during the interview. An in-person interview was scheduled, and I met with both HR and the person I would work for. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly.
