"International environtment / a little bureaucratic"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee in United States

I worked at European Space Agency

Pros

I found it to be a vibrant international, interdisciplinary environment with frequent opportunities for further professional growth and development of additional skills.

Cons

It can be a little bureaucratic at places and does not always have the flexibility to accommodate short-term changes in work strategy.

Advice to Management

I would suggest to increase the existing emphasis on the importance of continuous professional development and a healthy work-life balance.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at European Space Agency (Cologne) in Jul 2020

    Interview

First I had to pass 2 rounds of screening & reviewing my CV & previous experiences. Then they invited me to Skype call where we had a friendly conversation with my potential managers. They asked personal, behavioral, and a few technical questions. The questions were mostly targeted at my previous experiences and personality.
