Depends on your situation, but overall the pros are close to nonexistent. The only real pro is a paycheck, which will come at an extremely high price, but not worth it for any real professional in this industry
Anyone who passes on working for Everest Capital is making a very smart decision. The working environment is extremely hostile. Moral of employees is the lowest of any company I ever worked for or ever heard of. There have been employees who have updated there resumes and looked to leave within days of hire!! The main reason? Upper management just don't care! You will be treated as if your job is worth nothing and will be replaced for any reason, the employee turn around is ridiculous, close to 100%, so there is no established culture other than finger pointing and putting blame all throughout for reasons outside of anyone's reach. Unless you are part of a very select few (only one or two people in may years worked) there are no promotions and absolutely no incentive other than hope you don't get fire. Most people are either extremely disappointment and dissatisfied with their job or very happy when receive offers from elsewhere. In summary I would not recommend anyone to even consider Everest Capital, but if you feel you can't pass the opportunity the best advise is to stay no more than a year or two, which you will regret.
Advice to Management
Fire the COO. Brings absolutely no value to the operations. This person is only a tool of the principal owner. If you ever get called into his office, all it is is nonstop argument with absolutely no solutions. This person is not fitted to lead a team in any capacity. Since all the operations are ran by him with absolute power, you have all but nothing to loose when dealing with this person. All his under-links are afraid of him and are only looking to cover themselves and will throw you under the bus with no hesitation
