I have been working at Everest Group full-time (More than 8 years)
The research content and reputation is considered high quality with highly valued research analysts.
From our clients perspectives, we are highly regarded amongst our peers in tracking the global services industry.
Good family-work life balance. Work from home benefits.
Market competitive compensation and benefits.
Family-like culture with great management support. Great growth support on a team and individual level.
Brand awareness still needs work, although it’s improved over the last few years. Many clients don’t realize we have over 100 research analysts. They perceive us to be much smaller because of our boutique nature.
Conservative in event sponsorship spending which limits our visibility in industry events compared to our peers.
Not enough analysts based in the States to effectively cover all areas of expertise. This limits the client support in the afternoons and onsite or face to face domain expertise in the US.
Advice to Management
Invest in more US based research analysts.
Keep investing in brand awareness initiatives like attending and paying for speaking events at varied industry conferences. Consider spending more on event sponsorship for greater industry visibility.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Everest Group (Dallas, TX) in January 2009.
The interview process was fairly quick, considering the selective nature of their process. I had an initial phone interview with the head recruiter. Following the initial phone screening, I had an hour long phone interview with the hiring manager. There were lots of "what if" type questions. I was flown to Dallas to engage with management. There were 4 one-hour interviews with various mambers of the executive team. It took about 2 weeks to finally get an offer.
There was no negotiation for salary.
