Evonik has launched its most recent crowd sourcing competition to deliver novel and innovative solutions to the personal care industry. Winners will be awarded cash prizes as well as an opportunity to be considered for positions within Evonik. In this latest challenge, candidates should propose an idea for a product/material that satisfies an unmet need or provides an enhancement to a current functional area in the personal care market. The competition is conducted by MindSumo, a San Francisco, Calif.-based firm that connects companies and students through unique challenges, which are often in the field of science and technology.

Over 30 years of proven ability to build/maintain strong relationships with key accounts, strategic industry/market influencers, internal partners and teammates. Works effectively within a team environment and can lead/influence focus program efforts as well as accomplish defined objectives/goals. I applied online. I interviewed at Evonik (Garyville, LA) in September 2017.
Applied online in July 2017, six weeks later was contacted for and interview. As the date approached, interview was changed again, then interview was changed once more. Five days before the 3rd rescheduled interview was to take place I was contacted to say that they were cancelling my interview altogether because "they were going in a different direction".
