I have been working at Exclusive Resorts LLC full-time
Great people who support and build off each other - you actually want to be friends with your coworkers. An executive team that genuinely wants this to be a great place for members and employees. If you can make use of the restricted travel benefits, those are great too.
The travel industry can be exhausting and demoralizing. Management is doing a lot to create a sense of "why" but at the end of the day it's hard to get excited about a product that is designed exclusively for the obscenely wealthy and isn't really really doing anything to make the world better. Also, your job basically exists because the product is so complicated that you need a month of training in order to even begin to understand it.
Advice to Management
Keep fighting the good fight! You've created a great company culture but helping rich people figure out their 1% problems is only going to be compelling for some people for so long.
I applied through other source. The process took 3+ weeks. I interviewed at Exclusive Resorts LLC (Washington, DC) in March 2015.
Standard interview process with phone interviews with recruiter, hiring manager and VP of Sales. Questions seeking your initiative, ability to build and develop relationships and market knowledge. Interviews scheduled in a timely manner. Process not lengthy.
