    Product Marketing Manager Interview

    Anonymous Employee in United States
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview
    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Expel (United States) in Jan 2020

    Interview

Early process with internal recruiter was positive. Third round video call with the hiring manager failed as the specific role within the marketing team was not the same as what was A) Listed online, B) discussed with HR on prior calls, C) what I was actually qualified for.

We did not move forward, communicated by an autosend generic email. No feedback, no explanation on the role confusion. A drastic difference from the "we're different, we care, we're transparent" dynamic they play up. A real response must not have been worth their time once I was cut.

    Disappointing experience.
