At Express Locations, training is a commitment and a passion. Express Locations offers a robust training program for new employees.

 

  • Two weeks of live new hire training facilitated by a Sales Training Manager.
    • Employees who are unable to attend live new hire training, will still be able to take part in 2 weeks of virtual new hire training.
  • 8 hour Sales Training where new employee they learn the basics of our sales process.
    • A non-liner Customer Interaction Model (CIM)
  • 4 hour sales workshops every 6 months or less keep employees selling skills sharp.

    I have been working at Express Locations full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Express has been a phenomenal company to work for, I have worked exceptionally hard for the organization and have been well rewarded for those efforts, far more than comparable work has gotten me at other companies. Compensation for producers is excellent and the company is more than fair. Work Environment is great, people are outstanding and I love working here, I would work here another 10 years!

    Cons

    We aren't perfect, occasionally, a rouge Manager or Director makes our organization less than it should be, but the best intentions of the organization are always there, and we rectify our mistakes.

    This company isn't for everyone, it takes grit, determination, and a willingness to win, as well as a great deal of integrity, unfortunately these character traits are hard to find all in one person. Most people who don't care for Express weren't here for the right reasons.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you are doing and continue to find the right people, the kind of people who built this company into what it is today!

    Basic Questions using STAR responses is what they are looking for. Basic Questions about prior experiences. Market Director seemed to be going through the motions and would hire people he liked more that on qualifications.
