I worked at F&C Asset Management full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great people and friendly, but sometimes just too nice and things take forever. Marketing and distribution was in when I joined.
Great offices above Liverpool street very easy
Hopefully now under BMO ownership they will be better direction for distribution

    Cons

Group Management lots of egos and very little action as a team
Marketing was almost none existence, felt like a business in decline
lack of understanding of who they are

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at F&C Asset Management in June 2010.

    Interview

The HR call from Hong Kong Office for the business development trainee position, actually a sales position. It took 20 minutes. The recruiter is pretty friendly and comfortable to talk to. There HK office is pretty small, with only around 10 people. My cantonese ability has also been tested. Questions include, why sales? why HK? How long do you need to relocate? Any of your abilities that make you a fit for this position?
