Since FCCI’s founding in 1959, we’ve been giving back to the community. As our business has grown, so have our efforts to support the regions we do business in. We care about the communities we serve and consider it an honor to contribute to local and national charitable organizations.
Individually, our teammates donate time and raise money for many causes, such as local food drives and food banks, gifts for children and seniors during the holiday season, on-campus blood drives, and more. FCCI teammates also receive paid time off to participate in community involvement and volunteer at the charitable organization of their choice.
Whether it's FUNdraising events to raise money for United Way or members of FCCI's Young Professionals group volunteering on a Saturday to help clean up a Sarasota park, there's always a way to get involved at FCCI!

I have been working at FCCI Insurance Group full-time (More than a year)
FCCI is a diamond in the rough. I have worked for several large insurance companies throughout my career, and I have NEVER felt valued the way that I do here. Teammates are given the opportunity to meet with the CEO Craig during "Coffee with Craig" and pose questions, provide feedback and hear more about the direction of our company. We also have annual holiday parties for both adults and children (both FREE), turkeys given out to our families at Thanksgiving, a month of charitable giving concluded with a day of Halloween fun at Fall Fest, and several other events throughout the year that really promotes the culture of family with accountability. I moved to Florida from out of state, and the HR department made sure that I felt welcomed, and checked in from time to time my first year.
The department I work in is growing, and my teammates are exceptional people. We all work together, and there is no back stabbing or "not my job" attitudes. Management is fair, helpful, and treats you like you matter, which is right in line with FCCI's culture.
I am incredibly thankful that I received the opportunity to work for this company, and I am excited to see where we go in the future.

Advice to Management
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at FCCI Insurance Group (Sarasota, FL).
Typical process, however, it is still in progress after several weeks. The position is new, and understandably they want to find the right person, but after 4 weeks and 2 other offers, I think FCCI needs to streamline this. If I do not receive an offer from them within a day of writing this, I will confirm my offer with another company. Shame, because FCCI appears to be a really good company.
