Encouraging Giving Back is one of five FIS Guiding Principles.

FIS offers five employee giving programs that are backed globally by your generosity and commitment to giving back.

  1. FIS Chartiable Foundation – The Foundation complements the donations and volunteer efforts of our employees by providing more than $1 million annually in financial support to global charitable causes.
  2. Employee fundraising – Our employees demonstrate their own generous commitment to giving by regularly volunteering their own time and money.
  3. Disaster aid – When disasters strike FIS employees answer the call for help with monetary donations, supplies and volunteer hours.
  4. FIS Cares   – U.S. employees can donate $1 – 5 per pay period to help colleagues facing catastrophic or unforeseen events and financial hardship.
  5. FIS GreenLight Initiative – The environment comes first for many of our employees, who work at the grass-roots level to reduce our corporate carbon footprint.

Throughout the year we frequently spotlight employee efforts in these areas. Year after year, your contributions are so numerous and impactful that we decided to highlight some the many causes you rallied around in 2015 in the FIS Gives Back Annual Snapshot.

It’s our way of saying thank you for your continued dedication to making our communities a better place.

I have been working at FIS full-time

Excellent starting vacation, holiday and sick time off. Flexibility with scheduling time off within departments. Better than average health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k and stock options. Additional benefits available. Coworkers and work environment are both great. FIS cares about the community and its employees - this is seen through several company sponsored programs and events. FIS encourages growth within the company and works to retain talented employees.

Computer issues occur frequently and can take several days/ weeks to resolve depending on the issue. For a technology company this is somewhat surprising.

    Business Analyst II Interview

Anonymous Employee in New York, NY
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FIS (New York, NY).

Receive an email from the recruiter the day after I submitted a resume to a posting on Glassdoor. We setup a phone interview which was 2 days after the email.

That went well and was contacted about a face to face interview a couple of days later.

The face to face was the "Spanish Inquisition" type meeting which was very cordial and actually ran over the hour. Everyone was super nice.

They had me gone back to meet the GM a few days later.

A week and a half later, the offer came in. It was a bit lower than what the recruiter and I talked about in the screen call but still acceptable.
