I have been working at FLEX by Fenwick part-time (Less than a year)
Flex is a tough outfit to join. They're very picky about who they bring in. But it's also one of the most professional and friendly legal organizations around. Period.
A world-class bevy of clients - often the same as the parent.
Flex also has a daily vs. hour billing model, which allows the Flex attorney to better match variations in the work schedule of the host company without prior approval (within reason of course).
Flex is the only vendor that provides access to Practicing Law Institute online CLE courses, which by itself is worth several $K.
And the "Fenwick" name carries some weight on a resume.
The secondment model, like any other outsourcing model, tends to be unpredictable - feast or famine. It's good to have other sources of income.
Advice to Management
None. I've been very pleased so far.
