Interview
I interviewed for the Guest Experience Ambassador role in Pleasanton, CA. The first round was with a recruiter, very straight up about 10 minutes long. Then I got moved to the second round with two hiring managers, which I thought went wonderfully. That's why the third round shook me. The Regional Manager handled the interview and overall, the vibes were completely different than the first two rounds. He didn't seem personable at all, which I thought was odd because he's supposed to be Head of Hospitality. He also kept asking why I was rather focused on "customer service" and not "hospitality".. I'm not sure if I'm THAT inexperienced, but I didn't know there was a difference. So long and tedious of a process for something that paid $20 an hour.InterviewQ: How would you handle a VIP coming to town? Q: How would you clean a conference room?
