I have been working at FOCUS Brands full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very welcoming environment. Fun brands! Relaxed office atmosphere and culture. The office is brand new and super fun with collaborative spaces.

    Cons

Difficult to move up. People promoted with little experience. Poor performing associates not held to a standard makes it frustrating for those who work hard.

    Interview

Applying online was really frustrating. Their system is outdated and you have to enter all info manually and it took about an hour. You can't import the info from your resume or LinkedIn. It doesn't save your profile longer than about 60 days. It also requires you to enter the date you graduated from college, which can be a way for them to figure out your age. I had exact skills spelled out on my application, then received an email that my skills didn't match their position. Weird experience.
