I worked at Fairmont State University full-time (More than a year)
Fairmont State is a nice place to work due to the friendly and encouraging atmosphere.
The pacing of the job is slow yet steady. That is not a knock on the university but it does reflect the fact that the school is small. The work involved with the position is mainly in support of various departments and there is not a whole lot of new development going on.
Advice to Management
I applied online. I interviewed at Fairmont State University (Fairmont, WV) in July 2016.
I had a phone interview with the head of the department, and they were brief and blunt. Once she interviewed me, they said they would like to talk with me further in person, and to bring in some of my previous work.
