At Farm Credit Mid-America, we recruit people who have a wide range of experience and capabilities. We currently have more than 1,100 employees in our main office and in field offices throughout the four-state area of Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. We're always looking for great new people to join our team.

HEALTH & WELLNESS

Employees are eligible for health, vision and dental benefits, fitness reimbursement, and vacation, sick time and paid holidays.

EMPLOYEE SUPPORT

In addition to a friendly and inclusive work environment, we offer an employee assistance program, first time home buyers plan and vehicle purchase discount.

Financial Services Training Program

Trainees are enrolled in Farm Credit Mid-America’s fast-paced, year-round training program to become a Financial Services Officer (FSO) — a competitive, goal-oriented sales role. Responsibilities include servicing  potential and existing customers through the offer of competitive loan offerings, building relationships with these customers and meeting their needs. Successful FSOs maintain a positive presence in the rural areas they serve by becoming involved in community organizations and events.

Training generally lasts 12 to 18 months. During this time, trainees are assigned a field office location with a partner/mentor who will help guide their development. Trainees also complete course work and attend classroom training every four to six weeks at our office in Louisville, Kentucky.

College Recruiters

Farm Credit recruiters often visit colleges throughout Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. Find out when we will be on your campus by following us on Facebook and Twitter. Our recruiters also often sponsor campus events tied to agriculture.

Scholarships

Each year Farm Credit awards more than $100,000 in scholarships. In fact, Farm Credit has provided scholarships to our community's students studying agriculture, finance or an agriculture-related field, for more than a quarter of a century.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Farm Credit Mid-America.

    Interview

Phone interview and then personal interview which consisted of preformed questions and scenarios asked by a panel of 4. Reason given for no offer didn't make any sense. If they are looking for people with certain skills then they shouldn't waste candidates time when they don't have those skills.
