    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Federated Co-Operatives (Calgary, AB (Canada)) in May 2016.

    Interview

The overall process was very pleasant with a phone and panel in person interview. HR from Saskatoon was extremely pleasant to speak with over the phone and just as nice in person. Overall interview format is a bit different from normal as competencies are described to you as opposed to individual questions being asked to gauge your competency in certain areas.

    Interview Questions

    • Interpersonal competence - Gauging how well you interact with others, both positive and negative. Also to determine what kind of communication that is most effective in a given situation. Diplomacy is key in this case. Keeping all this in mind, provide example of a situation where you were forced to use diplomacy between co-workers and how that has had a continuing effect.   Answer Question
