    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Federated Insurance in April 2018.

    Interview

It was a VERY long interview process. It was roughly 4 months for me which included them requesting I get my insurances licenses (which I did). They had me bring my spouse to 3 interviews. 1 local, 1 driving distance, and 1 required a flight. The hiring manager was great and I always felt very supported by him. The other interviewers were abrasive and frankly rude about some things. After the final interview I was told they were not extending an offer and they couldn’t tell me why

    Interview Questions

    • Typical STAR questions, personal and family background, how you respond to stress, how organized are you, do you own a home, what’s your debt situation, etc   Answer Question
