Feedvisor – Why Work For Us?

The work we do is shaping the future of ecommerce, and powerfully changing the way business happens online. And we’re not stopping anytime soon. We are so grateful that you have decided to come on this adventure with us. We can’t wait to see what we can do together!

Who We Are

Feedvisor is the only marketplace intelligence and dynamic pricing platform using artificial intelligence to help sellers decipher data and provide actionable insights to fuel sales growth and increase  profit margin. We are a team of mathematicians, data scientists and commerce experts dedicated to make our clients the smartest sellers in the room.

At Feedvisor, our people have always been our priority. We are currently 100+ creative, tenacious, and friendly folks who value collaboration not just in theory but in practice. We never stop working to make sure each member of our team is supported and valued, whether that means close working relationships between managers and teams, or surprise doughnuts on a random Tuesday. We retain some of the most brilliant and bold minds in the industry year after year, and have built an environment in which each person can take ownership and initiative. Simply put, people love working here, and there’s hardly anything that makes us prouder.

What We Do

We sell superpowers. At least that’s how we see it. Our award-winning technology harnesses the power of big data and artificial intelligence to automatically reprice our customer’s products, helping them stay competitive in the online marketplace. In other words, our products deliver larger profits with less effort. We’re making it easier (and better) to be a business owner online.

Why we are here?

Amazon is driving half of all the growth in the retail industry. We're experiencing a retail revolution and as Amazon thrives, traditional retailers are struggling.  Today, Amazon accounts for 31% of all US ecommerce purchases.

Who we serve?

According to The Economist report, Amazon’s own inventory now accounts for less than half the sales on its site. Revenue from marketplace sellers reached $23bn in 2016, about twice as much as two years earlier.

We think you’ll like it here.

We work hard to make sure working hard is fun. Our central locations in New York, Tel Aviv, and Seattle means many of us commute by foot and by bike. Our open floor plans encourage a free exchange of ideas, with cozy nooks to allow for one-on-one discussions. We’re passionate about our products, our growth, and our customers, but we never forget a celebration: birthday gatherings, team trips, and holiday parties are all regular occurrences. You’ll definitely work hard, but you might just be surprised how exciting hard work can be.

Since launching in 2012, Feedvisor has grown exponentially: from zero to $1 billion in customer sales.  And we’re not stopping there. In the past year alone, Feedvisor has doubled its headcount and expanded to New York and Seattle. For our team members, there's no limit to where Feedvisor will take them.

Make an Impact

Employees at Feedvisor get to play a key role in the future of the company. This is the place to take ownership, create innovative solutions, and be a part of something big.

On October 2017, we officially launched our new office in New York! The office will serve as our new global headquarters, and we’re excited to bring Feedvisor’s company culture and Amazon expertise to the Big Apple.

As the Amazon Marketplace has grown, we’ve grown along with it. In just five years, we’ve gone from a small startup to a global powerhouse in algorithmic repricing, with offices in Tel Aviv, Seattle, and now New York. Feedvisor machine-learning algorithms power hundreds of top selling businesses on eCommerce marketplaces such as Amazon.

In the past year alone, we’ve raised a $20 million round of Series B funding, led by General Catalyst, and seen a significant increase in market adoption of our platform among large Amazon sellers. We now manage over $2 billion in gross merchandise value (GMV), which represents 2-3% of Amazon’s global business.

New York City is a great fit for our global headquarters. Many of our clients are located either in New York or cities along the East Coast, and the city has a robust, entrenched retail and commerce ecosystem. While Silicon Valley is the most well known tech hub in the world, Silicon Alley isn’t far behind. New York is the best of both worlds for us: It’s the global center for retail and fashion, and in recent years has become a tech hub in its own right. Companies like Blue Apron, Warby Parker, Buzzfeed and more are all based in NYC, and the city’s tech scene is growing rapidly. We’re excited to join such a thriving community.

Feedvisor has built an amazing team in New York in a very short time. We started the year with three people in New York and grew to 32 people in nine months, including our CEO, VP Marketing, VP Sales, VP Business Development and Chief Customer Officer. This new global headquarters will accelerate this momentum. We plan to double our local headcount by the end of next year. On top of this, we have a world class-team of almost 100 people in Tel Aviv.

Our new office is located in a great historical building at 45 Howard St. It’s a beautiful, airy space in Soho, which offers incredible amenities along with its central location. Some of the city’s best restaurants and shopping spots are right around the corner, and with ten subway lines within a block, we’re accessible from every borough.

    Senior Manager Marketing Interview

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Feedvisor (New York, NY).

    Interview

I applied online and had a great call with HR. Very quickly I was set up for a phone screen with the hiring manager. That went well and I was invited in for an interview in their offices. That's where it all went downhill. The office is in WeWork so I stepped off the elevator and nobody was there to greet me, nor could I find anyone who actually worked at FeedVisor. It was incredibly uncomfortable. Eventually, I found the office manager that I was supposed to ask for, but she seemed surprised I was there. I was told the hiring manager was in a meeting. After waiting about 20 minutes for her, I found out her "meeting" was a personal call. The hiring manager then began interviewing me, but almost immediately turned it negative. She was pretentious and condescending. Despite having less professional experience than me, she began lecturing me why I should not have taken the current role that I'm in. Further, she told me about a candidate she interviewed that morning and why she was not going to extend an offer to that candidate. It was extremely unprofessional and I felt very uncomfortable being there. I'm honestly not sure why she invited me in since she seemed to have already decided not to hire me. The entire day was a waste of my time and left a very bitter taste in my mouth towards the brand. I believe Feedvisor should be more careful about how they run their hiring process because it only creates negativity towards their brand.
