I worked at Fellowship Village as a contractor (Less than a year)
None that I could see
Very unorganized in the hiring process. Scheduled a 10:00 appt with the HR Director. Showed up to interview and she had taken the day off. I had to take time off of my regular job again to interview for the same job. Then I was only offered a per diem job, and not what I applied for. I never got called in for training...never got called in to help.
I applied for another f/t job there recently and they seem to have their 3rd HR Director in under 9 months. The director of the department I applied with is also gone. Clearly this place has a lot of turnover, even at the management level. So something isn't right.
HR called me when I applied for another position, but ended the call abruptly saying they'd call me back in a couple of hours and that they'd send info on a new position they mentioned on the phone. I have yet to hear back from them, despite a couple of attempts to follow-up. Very unprofessional.
Advice to Management
HR is unorganized. There must be a reason for so much turnover in management. I'd look into that.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Fellowship Village (Basking Ridge, NJ) in September 2011.
Sent my resume to them. Was contacted by their recruiter. Had 3 interviews and was hired within one month. They seemed to like my hands-on experience.
Salary and vacation time.
