Ability to be recognized for the contributions and ideas you bring to the table because of the size and startup mentality of the company.
FiberLight is a very reactionary company because of the nonexistence of processes, practices, policies, training and accountability. This causes a discord of continuity because people are working independently versus unified towards a common goal, which causes the high turnover rate we've been experiencing.
Advice to Management
Communicate a clearly defined 3 or 5 year company goal where a strategic plan can be mapped out so employees know what we're working towards and are assured to get the things required to reach our goals.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at FiberLight in November 2013.
Very easy as I had worked with this person before and they knew my capabilities, therefore it was more of an expectations interview, negotiated start date and compensation on the spot
