Some people who have been there for many years are almost painfully afraid of trying something different because what they have now technically works. Advice to Management

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Field Nation (Minneapolis, MN) in October 2015.
Tough. Come prepared to present metrics, numbers, systems and stories to back them up as well as be able to deliver on the results you say you have. Also be prepared to be taken out of your comfort zone. Be professional but be yourself.
