First American Payment Systems was founded in 1990 by Neil Randel, a veteran of the merchant account services industry, At that time, providing payment solutions to businesses required multiple merchant service providers. Mr. Randel, now CEO, envisioned First American providing a broad suite of solutions to businesses from a single source; and he began building the company with that mission.

Over the next twenty-five years, Mr. Randel assembled payment solutions, through internal development and acquisition, to establish First American as the single-source merchant service provider of payment solutions for small and mid-sized businesses. His vision is exemplified today with an in-house product and service suite, proprietary back-end settlement platform, and a full-service, award-winning support center that services over 220,000 businesses throughout the United States and internationally.

First American not only serves the domestic U.S. Market with payment solutions and merchant account services, but also provides global solutions in over 40 countries across a wide variety of industries. First American is a payment technology company with over 25 years in business. We provide payment and commerce solutions to over 220,000 customers including SMBs as well as large enterprises throughout North America. We partner with Independent Software Vendors (ISV’s), Independent Sales Offices (ISO), Value Added Resellers (VARS) and banks throughout the United States. Through our robust suite of payment solutions to our award winning 24/7 customer service center, we have a solution for any payment processing need.

The Office
First American is conveniently located in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.  In the heart of downtown Fort Worth and within steps of the prestigious Sundance Square, we enjoy views of both historic landmarks as well as the newly renovated downtown cityscape.  Limitless choices of shopping, dining, and entertainment are all in our backyard.

    Application

    I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at First American Payment Systems (Fort Worth, TX) in June 2015.

    Interview

    Imerviewed with Vp and supervisor. Explained job and left room for questions. Vp kept stating that i was applying for specialist role and that there is no room for advancement at least 3 times. . also indicated with bonus that everyone meets except 2 employees missesd 1 month over past year would get me closer to asking salary. I was taught never calculate bonus with salary because its not guaranteed but after hearing it numerous times i did ask more questions on it since clearly its part of salary. I was told its possible for me to make close ti supervisor but probably not because shes been there awhile. MY THOUGHT IS YOU ARE NOT MAKING SENSE, YOU STATE THAT IM APPLYING FOR SPECIALIST AND. THAT THERE IS NO ROOM TO GROW IN THAT DEPARTMENT. So why the comparison with the supervisor? They dont call you back when they state they will.
