Awesome variety of various uniquely different and individual people but all accepted each other and also found like mindedness as well as points and areas for common interest and opportunity for fellow social relations, acceptance, understanding and best of all an integrated group of awesome people from all different life factors and backgrounds with the outcome being in a heck of a TEAM
For someone who's not much of a seafood person getting used to the aromas of the culinary focus was definitely something to adjust to, the saving grace perks being the awesome sanitation for no "fishy business" other than fresh bon appetite creations or in the making masterpieces and also the fact that even this turned up picky eaters nose came around to melt at the duration of my employment there because it all tasted so fantastic versus the norm of my experience with seafood
Advice to Management
None really other than it would be awesome to start offering more options for different aspects of growth in the company rather than just store management positions, like maybe some marketing type stuff or maybe even FOH service staff some culinary opportunities and tools to work towards so
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Fish City Grill (Dallas, TX) in January 2016.
The manager was very inviting and extremely polite. Was veey satisfied and relieved with the fact that he called ro invite me in for an interview within an hour of me submitting my application online, and we all know how pressing and frustrating the tedious job searching process can be, and he cut that in half! He was very prompt and thorough regarding not only specific detail of the position applied for but regarding their outstanding training program and process and very in depth and knowledgeable description of their company as well shedding alot of great light into who they are, what they stand for and what their company is all about as well as what its all about to become and be a part of their team. "Fun people, serious seafood!" I believe was the slogan they use that he told me. Love it! Made me feel very well assesed and checked into which shows great on how seriously they take who they bring into thr company, but in such an enjoyable experience for me. Very prompt on the potential continuance of the hiring process as well, made sure to emphasise how theyd call me either way and that they never leave anyone hanging, then called me in a very timely manner two hours later to invite me back the very next day for my second interview with their wait staff manager! Super thrilled!
