I have been working at Fitness Formula Clubs full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Incredible work environment, fantastic direct management at my specific club location, great networking with clients and members, you will make some of the best friends of your life, getting to help people is the best part of this job- it is extremely rewarding and you really do make a huge difference in peoples lives. FFC is one of the best places to work in the city if you are trying to get into the fitness industry.

    Cons

inconsistent pay check, corporate management is not great, rarely promote within- the only way to make more money as a trainer is to move up a level in training title, late night and early mornings are the most lucrative time to work but it is exhausting

    Advice to Management

Personal trainers bring in so much profit for the club yet very little is given back to show appreciation and little incentives are given to drive sales even though it is a 100% commission job. Feels like a lot of take but no give on the companies part. The company really does care about its culture and the members though and my direct supervisors always made it clear how much the training teams hard work is appreciated

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fitness Formula Clubs (Chicago, IL).

    Interview

I had applied with the company and had been emailing to set up best times to interview. I actually had to decline the interview process at the moment. I later then contacted to reapply and see if position was still available. I was contacted right away. Even sent an email to the employer and got a quick helpful response!
