Excessive emphasis in providing better service to internal management and hotel owner, rather than concentrating in the customers.
Advice to Management
Do not expect more attention than the customers. The service cannot be stopped because the owner is stopping by for lunch.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Fitzpatrick Hotel Group (New York, NY) in October 2014.
Interview was quick and easy, met with HR and then the Director of Sales and Marketing. Had more of a conversation with each rather than an question answer interview. Was offered the job after the interview.
