    Recommends

I worked at Five Acres full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

5 Acres Residential Treatment Center offered the best possible training during my MFT internship. 5 Acres was the most ethical agency I have ever worked for and I am very proud of the work of the clinical team. Upper Management provided strong support to the MFT and MSW interns. Great pay, amazing team building, and the clients made the work so meaningful. 5 Acres raises the bar for solid integrity of an agency, valued staff, and a hard working and collaborative board of directors.

    Cons

I honestly don't have anything to write in this section.

    Advice to Management

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Five Acres (Altadena, CA) in May 2011.

    Interview

The former Associate Director of HR was amazing; she communicated her love of the agency and its work. She immediately introduced me to the former Executive Director and Director of Philanthropy (my future boss) and they were equally committed to the agency's work and communicated a strong feeling of family.
